Start by checking whether specific environment-related remarks or commitments were made in the Identification phase: outcome of the SEA screening process, conclusions and recommendations of the pre-feasibility/identification study(ies), Identification Fiche, etc. The procedure to follow depends on whether an SEA is required or not:

You need guidance on how to appraise an SEA report Section 4.2.2. – point 4
You need guidance on how to use the findings of the SEA report in the design of the SPSP Section 4.2.2. – point 5
More specifically, you need guidance on how to integrate the findigs of the SEA report in the seven assessment areas  Table 6.3.
